Cinnamon Coffee Ring
1 C. Butter softened
2 – 3/4 C. sugar divided
4 eggs
1 T. Vanilla
3 C. Flour
2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
2 C. Sour Cream
2 T. Cinnamon
Cream
butter and 2 cups of sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and mix well. Combine
flour, baking powder, soda, and salt; add sour cream, mix.
Grease
and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Combine the cinnamon and remaining 3/4 c
sugar, set aside. Spoon a third of the batter into tube pan; sprinkle a
third of sugar mixture; Repeat layers twice. Bake at 350 for 65-70 min.
Cool for 10 min. before removing the cake to a plate. Invert the cake twice, so the sugar and cinnamon mixture is on top.
